We hereby invite you to submit proposals for presentations to afrikanistinnentag2025@univie.ac.at till March 15, 2025. Proposals should not exceed 300 words excluding references.

We welcome all submissions that can be assigned to the heterogeneous field of African Studies. This primarily includes African languages and literatures in all their manifestations, as well as their underlying socio-cultural and historical conditions and uses. Proposals on all linguistic sub-areas are just as welcome as proposals that pursue social, literary, cultural or historical approaches and methods of African Studies.

Proposals for paper presentations can be submitted until March 15, 2025 at afrikanistinnentag2025@univie.ac.at.

In addition to submitting presentations on general sub-areas of African studies, it is also possible to submit contributions for the panels listed here (please send abstracts to afrikanistinnentag2025@univie.ac.at and the respective panel organizers).
