In den 1960er-Jahren prägten die Medienbilder des nigerianischen Biafrakriegs die Vorstellung von einem ganzen Kontinent. So auch für Christine Moderbachers Vater, der Jahrzehnte später seinem Pfarrer Sabinus helfen will, in dessen Heimatdorf eine katholische Schule zu errichten. Mit dabei: die Tochter und ihre Kamera. Eine persönliche Vater-Tochter-Reise und ein filmisches Notizbuch über Abhängigkeitsverhältnisse und die Unvereinbarkeit von Unabhängigkeitsbewegungen und christlichen Missionsprojekten. 

In the 1960s, the media pictures of the Nigerian Civil War shaped the notion of a continent. As was the case for Christine Moderbacher´s father, who decades later wants to help his priest Sabinus build a Catholic school in his Nigerian hometown. Joining them: the daughter and her camera. A personal father-daughter journey, and a cinematic diary about interdependencies and the incompatibility of independence movements and Christian missionary projects. (Diagonale 2018)

Since 2009 making films (Men at work 2010, A Letter to Mohamed 2013, Red Earth White Snow 2018), texts, audio video installations (Channel #1, Container), carpentry and radio shows.
