Ibrahim Mahama is a renowned Ghanaian contemporary artist celebrated for his monumental installations and innovative use of found materials. He is the founder of Red Clay Studio, Savannah Centre for Contemporary Art, and Nkrumah Volini—spaces that foster artistic experimentation and cultural dialogue. Mahama’s work transforms everyday discarded objects into powerful artistic statements that interrogate history, politics, social realities, memory, and other themes.
