The 4th conference of the network "Africa-related Research in Austria" was held at the Department of African Studies from 19 - 21 April 2018.
The conference encouraged the exchange between all those who work on Africa-realated topics within Austria, wheter outside or inside of academia.
After previous meetings in Vienna (2014), Innsbruck (2015) and Linz (2016), the 4th Africa Network Meeting with more than 100 participants was the largest meeting of researchers and students who deal with Africa in Austria. For three days lectures, discussions, workshops and film screenings took place at the Department of Africa. Good family atmosphere and lively discussions characterized the event.
Enclosed you will find the final Programm of the conference. 13 panels, 4 roundtables, 3 workshops, 3 screenings and 2 excursion reports filled the three days.
